Paraty Hotel

The hotel was close to the old town of Paraty.

It is not a hotel, but a hostel! I found it very misleading that they call themselves a hotel, while they are a hostel. We did not get any information when we checked in, not even at what time breakfast was. When checking out they had to ask us how long we stayed, they had not written down anything. The rooms were very small and looked totally different from the pictures on the Booked.net website. No hot water to shower. It was very difficult to find the hostel since it was located in a tourist information office. We travels around Brazil, and stayed at many hostels. This was our last location where we wanted to stay in a more luxurious place, a hotel. However, it turned out to be the worst location we stayed during our holiday.

Basic but clean and comfortable. Excellent location being on the main street, close to everything including the bus station and the historic center. Overall excellent value for money if you are not looking thrills and ribons.

Not much to say, it's a place to sleep

Staff were unfriendly and in helpful at the front desk, except the lady in the kitchen was very nice
